Q No matter how I position my Stout Kart on the vehicle the holes for the pin dont line up. Whats wrong?
| A If your hitch is not commercially built, you may have to re-drill the holes. Check the depth of your receiver to see if it is deep enough to accept the Karts stinger. There are many types of hitch receivers. We have found occasions where the best solution for slight mismatches is to enlarge the holes on the Karts stinger.

| Q I cant get my Stout Kart to rise using the jack. Am I missing something? | A Check the Quick Release Handle on the back of the jack. It needs to be in the down (closed) position for the jack to be engaged. The cam on the shaft of the Quick Release Handle should close when the handle is engaged. Also, the valve on the cylinder must be in the down (open) position. When using the jack, be sure you are rotating the jack handle (crank) clockwise. The bed should rise if you follow these steps. |
| Q How much pressure should I put in the Stout Karts tires? | A You can find tire information right on the tire. The average maximum pressure is 32psi. |
Q How do I get the wheels to lock into position?
| A Remove the wheel/axle assembly from the Stout Kart. Find the holes on the axle stems. Reinsert the axles into the axle housing with the holes facing the holes in the housing. Pull outward on the axle pin while inserting the axle stem. Release the pin while pushing in the wheel. The pin should snap into the first hole.

| Q How do I keep the Stout Kart from dropping to fast or rising too slow when I release the Quick Release Jack Handle? | A- Stout Karts equipped with valve-controlled hydraulic cylinders will change speed as the valve is opened and closed. |
Q When I try to remove the Stout Kart from my vehicle, it sometimes wont dismount easily. Is there anything I can do?
| A Remove the receiver pin. Drop the wheels to just lightly touching the ground. Grasp the handle and with a combined slight upward and outward motion pull straight away from the vehicle. Sometimes it is necessary to rock the Kart slightly with a side to side motion as you pull.

| Q - What if I get "rear ended" with the Kart on? | A - The only experience we know about was reported by one owner. He was hit in the rear while waiting in a left turn lane. His Rodex unit, SK500 Kart including tanks was in his hitch receiver. The other driver struck him at approximately 35 MPH and sustained major damage to his truck. The SK500 was not repairable, but there was no damage to the Rodex unit, or the truck carrying it. |
